– CNC-turned OD, thickness and bolt circle to Hyundai blueprint—slides on without shims or spacers.

2. GREY CAST-IRON G3000 COMPOSITION

– 3.3 % C, 2.0 % Si, 0.7 % Mn, ≤ 0.15 % P, ≤ 0.12 % S—same melt formula used on Elantra, Tucson, Santa-Fe production line.

– Pearlite matrix, 200-230 HB hardness: long wear, high thermal conductivity and excellent vibration damping.

3. HIGH-VELOCITY VENTILATED CORE

– 40 directional vanes evacuate hot air 15 % faster than straight-vane designs; rotor runs 60 °C cooler in repeated 100-0 km/h stops.

– One-piece casting—no welded seams to crack under heavy loads or mountain descents.

4. SURFACE FINISH & BALANCE

– Non-directional swirl, Ra ≤ 1.8 µm—pads bed-in within 20 stops, zero greenfade.

– Dynamic balanced ≤ 1 g—mirror-shake free at Hyundai’s 130 km/h (81 mph) highway limit.

5. CORROSION PROTECTION

– Electro-zinc coating on hat, outer rim and vane mouths—96 h salt-spray per ASTM B117, no rusty hats behind alloy wheels.

– Friction faces uncoated for immediate use; protective oil film burns off during first brake application.

6. QUIET OPERATION

– Radial and lateral chamfers plus 0.35 mm under-cut slots eliminate pad-knock and squeal.

– Designed for Hyundai low-met and ceramic formulations—low dust, no black rims.

7. LAB & ROAD VALIDATION

– 300-cycle AK-Master (100-30 km/h, 3.5 kW power) wear ≤ 0.35 mm—within Hyundai 0.5 mm limit.

– Thermal shock: 500 °C → 20 °C water quench, 50 cycles—no surface cracking, distortion < 0.05 mm.

8. SERVICE LIFE & APPLICATION

– 70 000–90 000 km normal street use; 35 000 km severe duty (taxi, highway patrol).

– Direct replacement for selected Hyundai & Kia models—see reverse side for VIN/chassis list.

– Always fit in axle pairs and use Hyundai-specified pads for optimum pedal feel.

INSTALLATION NOTES

Clean hub face with wire brush, apply thin anti-seize on contact shoulders only, torque wheel nuts to 108 N·m (M12) in star pattern.

Bed-in: 8 moderate stops 80 km/h → 30 km/h, 30 s cooling between each.
